Flights & accommodation
Do I need a VISA or ESTA to enter the United States?
Members that require an entry visa to the US must contact their nearest consulate or embassy. In light of ongoing changes to the US immigration policy, we would strongly recommend checking here for the latest travel regulations.
Do I need to be vaccinated or tested to attend L.E/Miami 2023?
As of 12 May 2023, there are no COVID-19 vaccination requirements for travel to the United States. A pre-departure COVID-19 test is also no longer required for USA-bound air travellers.
If you have recovered from a documented COVID-19 infection within the past 90 days (regardless of vaccination status) you do not need to get a test 3 to 5 days after travel.
If flying to Miami from another US state, check if your airline requires any testing, vaccination, or other documents prior to travelling.
Wearing a mask on aircraft, trains, buses and at airports is still recommended by the CDC. Inside the Miami Beach Convention Centre, masks are now optional but still encouraged, as per local public health mandates.
Does L.E/Miami arrange transport to and from the airport?
L.E/Miami does not cover any transportation or airport transfers before, during or after the show dates.
I'm a journalist and I've used my official L.E/Miami media flight credit to attend L.E/2023. What happens to my flight credit if I need to cancel my participation in L.E/2023?
If you cancel your attendance at L.E/Miami 2023 for any reason and your ticket does not allow for a full refund (or transfer to a replacement delegate), you will forfeit the L.E/Miami 2023 flight contribution and be liable for the full cost of the flight credit.
What should I do if I need to change my travel and/or accommodation arrangements?
Prior to the show, please get in touch with the L.E/Miami team at [email protected] or your account manager directly. Please note: changes to flights or accommodation are subject to availability and if you are a buyer, you will be responsible for any costs incurred – for example, upgrading your flight or accommodation.
During the show, please come to the Registration Area at the Miami Beach Convention Center or find one of the L.E/Miami team members who will be at every venue, so we can help you in person.

What’s the dress code?
The official dress code is business casual: think more weekend brunch than power lunch. L.E/Miami operates a no-tie policy.
Are meals included?
We don't provide breakfast and evening meals unless specified, with the exception being hosted buyers who have breakfast included.
L.E/Miami lunches are hosted in partnership with Miami’s local restaurants, which offer an official set menu Tuesday – Thursday. We also partner with bars and restaurants along South Beach, to offer the collective discounts on food and drink throughout the show.
Can I bring a +1 to the show/parties?
As L.E/Miami is a by-invitation-only event; only delegates registered for L.E/Miami who have their badge and security bracelet will be able to access the parties. Please don’t invite guests, as we will have to turn them away.
Can I organise my own events during L.E/Miami?
You are not permitted to organise a private event or entertain buyers during one of the official parties or during any official event on the L.E/Miami schedule (including show hours, lunches, conference and official parties). Private events are permitted on Tuesday (13 June) and Wednesday (14 June) evening, though must be strictly kept to a maximum of 35 buyers. Any company hosting a private event that clashes with an official element of the event or that has invited more than 35 buyers will have their registration(s) revoked and will be refused entry to all business and social events throughout the show.
Will I be able to select extra appointments if the buyer/exhibitor I wish to meet is not in my diary after the selection process?
Yes. There will be a window of time until the show for you to request appointments with buyers/exhibitors that aren’t currently in your diary.
Can I change an appointment once it has been confirmed?
We match appointments in advance through our bespoke matchmaking system – based on your stated preferences, therefore you will not be able to change them.

What if I miss an appointment?
Let us know as soon as possible so we can help you arrange another time for the appointment so that it isn’t reported as a “missed appointment”.
If the missed appointment is reported, cancellation fees may be incurred. Please note that missing multiple appointments may jeopardise your future involvement at L.E/Miami.
What if I need to cancel my attendance?
If you are a buyer, we will request that you send a substitute who is equally qualified and can provide three strong references. The L.E/Miami team may choose to accept the substitute after reviewing the buyer’s fully completed registration and references.
If you are an exhibitor, Master Pass attendee or PR Access pass holder, you may be able to cancel depending on the circumstances and how far in advance you let us know.
In all cases, if you need to cancel your attendance, please get in touch with us as soon as you can to allow us as much time as possible to process your cancellation and replace your spot so that there is minimal impact on the show.
Is there a cancellation fee?
There are non-refundable cancellation fees for exhibitors, Master Pass holders and PR Access attendees depending on the date of written cancellation being acknowledged by the L.E/Miami team. Please refer to the Terms & Conditions you signed for further information about cancellation fees.
What should I do if I test positive for COVID-19 whilst at the show?
If you test positive, please do get in touch with the L.E/Miami team straightaway. You must follow the national guidelines in the US at the time. It is likely that you will have to self-isolate and let us know so that we can inform anyone you were in contact with.
