THE 2024 SESSIONS

A taster of what you can expect at L.E/Master Pass...
01 / 05

The easiest way to find out what’s driving Gen Z’s travel decisions? Ask them directly. Or, better still, ask the founder of the Gen Z-marketing agency recently acquired by UTA, before being duly appointed their ‘Head of Next Gen’. Enter Ziad Ahmed, who’ll be unpacking the Gen Z mindset as it pertains to travel. From climate change to costs and culture, Ziad will explore the emotions and market conditions shaping how his generation are travelling right now — and what this means for you and your hotel or offering.

Disarmingly impressive and brimming with actionable advice, Ziad Ahmed will bring you real-time insights gleaned from his work with leaders like you, helping them connect more productively with young(er) audiences. He will also reflect on qualitative discussions he’s had with key opinion leaders on what it looks like to push the rhetoric from simply ‘sustaining’ the current situation — to redefining, and regenerating, the status quo.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away…the innkeeper was the chief curator of culture and hospitality. (Overblown job titles? They’re nothing new.) As people passed through towns and villages, it was innkeepers they looked to for news, gossip and local recommendations — as well as handling emergencies, protecting their property and providing solutions to problems that arose.

As Pablo Henderson will attest in this fascinating, hybrid workshop/presentation, it’s high time contemporary hospitality and the hotel ecosystem returned to its innkeeper roots. You’ll discover how to better support the needs of your future guests and workforce, by modelling timeless principles that have long been part of the innkeeper’s hospitality roots — creating an environment where your guests and employees can thrive.

More than any workers before them, Gen Z — and the generation hot on their heels, Gen Alpha — are seeking meaningful employment that respects their individuality and personal quirks. This seems simple enough, until we consider the limitations of hospitality, which is struggling to attract — and retain — Gen Z staff. Enter serial entrepreneur and hospitality tech wizard Alex Lamotte-Hysbergue, who’ll lead this enlightening workshop to help you rethink your ‘back office’ jobs, reduce grunt work, and make your teams happier and more productive in the process.

Split into two sessions, a brief keynote followed by an immersive workshop, you’ll complete a short ‘pre-work’ project before coming to Master Pass (more details to follow very soon).  Over 90 minutes, you’ll gain actionable deliverables to help you alleviate your operational challenges — from revenue management to HR — and make your biz a preferred workplace for Gen Z.

For two decades, Diana Verde Nieto has guided companies towards sustainable economic growth and innovation. She even wrote the book on it (Reimagining Luxury: How to Build a Sustainable Future for Your Brand, released in January this year). Now, she’s coming to Master Pass to quite literally shift your mindset, so you can future-proof your business.

You’ll discover:

  • What mindsets are, and why they’re key for growth
  • How to build a culture of growth and collaboration
  • How to incorporate Inclusive exclusivity as a growth strategy
  • How to create a mission driven growth strategy or activation, in a hands-on workshop
